CACAO BEANS
M&D operates a cacao buying station located in the provincial town of Calinan in Davao City, Philippines.
We buy wet beans from smallholder farmers, ferment and dry these beans into fine flavour beans. These beans are packed as single-origin under the registered trademark label
Rehoboth Estate ®.
In 2018, we were placed in the top 10 best cacao bean quality and flavour competition at the Philippines National Cacao Award.
We also offer a range of cacao related products such as roasted de-shelled cacao nibs, tableya (100% pure cacao mass) to fresh cacao seeds for nursery operations.
Currently, our focus is on processing small lots of fine flavoured cacao beans for artisanal chocolatiers.
